Resurrections need
two proofs.

A genuine return requires evidence for both sides of the story: a defensible earlier period of public silence or cessation, followed by newer meaningful activity from the same project or a verified successor.

0 verified resurrections

The 12 reviewed cases do not yet contain a record that establishes both a qualifying dormant interval and a later verified return. This empty result is preserved rather than filled with a looser anecdote.

Active counterexample

Feathercoin is a counterexample,
not a resurrection.

CoinPaprika says inactive, yet the official repository shows substantive activity in June 2026. The reviewed evidence disproves an aggregator’s inactive shortcut, but it does not establish that the project first met this site’s public-silence criteria and later returned.

Bring the dormant record and the return.

A press claim or price spike is insufficient. The strongest submission links native, dated evidence for the earlier state, the newer event and continuity of project ownership.
